The scope of work for this project included underground utility investigations and the development of a comprehensive Water Asset Management Plan to support the long-term management and sustainability of the water system.
Site Work Solutions identified unknown underground utilities using potholing techniques, providing accurate field information to support infrastructure planning and future construction activities.
In addition, Site Work Solutions developed a Water Asset Management Plan in accordance with applicable American Water Works Association (AWWA) and California water industry standards. The plan was developed to help the client effectively assess current infrastructure conditions, anticipate future system needs, and establish a long-term strategy for maintaining and improving critical water assets.
The plan provides the information necessary to prioritize preventative maintenance, identify aging and failing infrastructure, and develop replacement strategies. It also establishes a foundation for pursuing infrastructure loans, grants, and other funding opportunities to support the replacement and rehabilitation of end-of-life water system components.
Together, the utility investigation and asset management planning efforts provide the client with reliable infrastructure data and a strategic framework for informed, cost-effective water system management.
