Work performed under this Design-Build contract includes multiple parts in order to increase security of a high voltage WAPA switchyard and adjacent maintenance facility. Major work activities include reconfiguring the main entry to the Tracy Maintenance Facility (TMF), installation of vehicle cable barrier along the fence lines, Installation of three new crash rated pivot gates and one new crash rated sliding gate, installation of a new guard booth as well as all utility upgrades required to service the new security measures.
