The work on this project consisted of the construction of a cast in place concrete foundation and the installation of a solar light pole at the NIST Boulder Campus. In order to complete the work a 3′ diameter hole was augered in an existing landscaped planter area adjacent to a parking lot and heavily trafficked walking path. Once the hole was augered, a rebar cage and anchor bolt assembly was anchored in place along with footing formwork. Concrete was placed and finished, and once cured the solar light pole was set in place and fastened to the anchor bolts.
