Conducted an underground utility search using ground penetrating radar, prior to any excavation in the substation yard. Provided two, 2” conduits from the inside southwest corner of the building 3 underground to the inside southeast corner of building 4. Provided two, 2” EMT conduits from the southeast corner of building 4 to the southwest corner of building 4 and stub them out of the building.  Backfilled trenches and asphalt patched trenches. Connected all the new conduits to make a complete pathway from building 3 to building 4 and from building 4 to the cable tray. Conduits entry/exit to buildings was a weather rated junction box.  Conduit entry into the substation cable tray can be directly from the trench into the open bottom of the cable tray using plastic.  Removed existing stairs to the mezzanine, made any necessary modifications to the stairs to allow them to be installed in a west to east orientation at the north end of the mezzanine.  Performed necessary modifications to the mezzanine to allow the stairs to be installed. Relocated, replaced, and provided necessary conduits, light fixtures, braces, penetrations and any other work items that were necessary to allow for the stairs to be installed.  Provided railing to close the gap in the mezzanine railing left by the removal of the stairs.
