The Interior Region 8 Lower Colorado Basin encompasses the states of Arizona, Nevada and California, the programs and projects cover over 202,000 square miles of the West with a focus of the lower 688 river miles of the Colorado River system. In a typical year, Reclamation facilities in the LC Basin deliver 7.5 million acre-feet (maf) of water to Arizona, California, and Nevada, and 1.5 maf to Mexico. The water helps irrigate over 2.5 million acres of land and meet domestic needs of more than 23 million people. Additionally, LC Basin is responsible for implementing the Lower Colorado River Multi Species Conservation Program (LCR MSCP) over the 50-year term of the program.  LCR MSCP consists of a partnership of Federal and non-Federal stakeholders responding to the need to balance the use of Lower Colorado River (LCR) water resources, the conservation of native species and their habitats in compliance with the Endangered Species Act. LC Basin is responsible for maintaining the integrity of existing structures and conveyance system including irrigation canals, siphons, inlets and diversions, gates, and linings.  Under this Multiple Award IDIQ Site Work Solutions must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision as well as any additional items and services necessary to perform canal construction, repair, and replacement as defined in the contract and individual task orders.  The work will consist but not be limited to removing and properly disposing of existing but not limited to concrete, gates, gate frames, and other debris; repairing the soil base for the canal and piping including compaction to a minimum of 90%, installing new concrete canal lining, piping water conveyance systems, replace gates, replace field ports within the canal system; earthwork to prepare base and sub-base material; as well as any additional facilities.
