This project was located in the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, in Shasta County, California. The project included the paving of the Brandy Creek Trail and the East Beach Parking Lot. One of the requirements of this project was to protect all of the natural resources, including the trees and plants with-in the construction site. In order to meet the requirements of the specifications SWS confined our operations to the footprint of the trail. Brandy Creek Trail is a narrow winding trail (5’-0” x 2300 lf) that provides access from the parking area to both the beach area and restrooms.
