Work consisted of removing and realigning I mile of existing 750 KVA transmission power lines, H-tower support structures and foundations. Scope; demolition, asbestos abatement, environmental compliance with desert tortoises, cactus and other sensitive concerns. Excavated new foundations, placed new foundations, erected new Government supplied mono poles, strung new line. Difficulties – compliance with environmental concerns, remote location, continual theft and damage to materials and equipment.
